Yerevan StonecuttersEMDAP Adviser visits a local furniture company in the Noemberyan VillageEMDAP Adviser Patrick Ball working with small businesses in rural Armenia on a USAID-funded market development project. The Fellow serves as a business consultant on the non-farm rural initiative (NFRE) team, which seeks to build market linkages with small businesses that are economically disadvantaged due to their remote geographic location. Here, the Adviser is working with a stone processing business and a local wood products manufacturer.

The EMDAP Advisers in Aqaba are involved in the development of the port of Aqaba. The goal is to increase the utilization of Aqaba's ports through the capture of more tourism, trans-shipment, and logistical enterprises to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone.Two EMDAP Advisers in Aqaba were involved in the development of the port of Aqaba, Jordan.
